The Power of Micro Adjustments
The Power of Micro Adjustments
The biggest improvements in your technique don’t come from huge overhauls. They come from tiny, intentional tweaks.
A slight shift in weight, a subtle engagement of a muscle, a breath held or released at the right time—these micro adjustments separate “almost” from “effortless.” The best circus artists aren’t doing anything dramatically different from you. They’ve just learned to feel and refine the small details that make a huge impact.
When something isn’t working, instead of starting from scratch or pushing harder, try making one small adjustment at a time. Does shifting your focus point help? What happens if you engage your core just that much more? Can you relax unnecessary tension?
💡 Your challenge this week: Take one skill you’ve been struggling with and make just one micro adjustment per attempt. Test, feel, refine. Small shifts lead to massive breakthroughs.
PS – Circus isn’t about making things look possible. It’s about making them look effortless. The secret? Micro adjustments. - The 1% Rule!
