Remembering Why You Started - Back when you didn't need Motivation
Remembering Why You Started - Back when you didn't need Motivation
Motivation comes and goes.
That’s normal.
What keeps artists training long-term isn’t motivation, it’s connection to why they started, even when training feels flat or repetitive.
You didn’t start circus because every session felt amazing.
You started because something about it made sense in your body.
Because movement, challenge, and learning felt natural. Even when it was hard.
Some weeks you’ll feel inspired and excited.
Other weeks you’ll just feel steady, quiet, and consistent.
Some weeks going to training may feel like the last thing you want to do.
Those weeks still count.
Often, they matter more.
🎯 Weekly Challenge:
Write down one reason you still train that has nothing to do with improvement, success, or future goals. Keep this message in a safe place and the next time you feel like skipping training pull it out.
