Your Warm-Up Isn’t Working (Here’s Why)

If you can do your warm-up without thinking, it’s probably not preparing you for anything.

Warm-ups should switch on everything from you mind, co-ordination, stability and power. If you’ve been doing the same routine for months, your body’s just going through the motions—and that’s not helping your performance.

Change it up every 4 - 6 weeks. Make it specific to what you're training that day. Add different styles of training like partner warm up, dynamic stretching, or joint mobilization.

💡 This week’s challenge: Replace one part of your usual warm-up with something that actually challenges you. Make your body think again.

PS – We like to follow YouTube videos for warm-up and stretching routines. This helps keep things from getting boring
