Holland Lohse
"Trust everything is catch. Trust in your partner, trust in your training, and trust in your grip."
Holland discovered circus arts through gymnastics — following a path that many elite performers share. What started as pure athletic training evolved into a passion for performance, storytelling, and the unique discipline of circus arts. He went on to master multiple apparatuses, ultimately earning a place with one of the most prestigious circus companies in the world.
For Holland, training is never truly "off." Whether conditioning on trampoline, drilling partner work for hand-to-hand, or refining aerial pole technique, every session is purposeful. He approaches each day with a professional's discipline — built around the unique demands of performing across seven different apparatuses at the highest level.
Performing nightly as part of Cirque du Soleil's The Beatles LOVE at The Mirage stands as a defining chapter in Holland's career. With a 360° theater, over 2,000 seats, and one of the most sophisticated sound systems ever built, every show demanded perfection. The international cast and world-class production made it an experience unlike anything else in circus.
When your entire act depends on grip — whether you're catching a partner in hand-to-hand, holding a strap position, or balancing at height — you can't afford to second-guess your hands. AcroGrip was built for exactly what Holland does: skin-on-skin contact, long performance sets, and sweat. It works, it's clean, and it doesn't leave chalk all over the equipment.
Holland Lohse is a professional acrobat and aerialist whose career has taken him from the grandest stages in Las Vegas to the high seas of Royal Caribbean. A versatile performer across seven disciplines — trampoline, straps, Cyr wheel, hand to hand, aerial pole, duo trapeze, and duo unicycle — Holland represents the rare circus artist who has truly mastered not one craft, but many.
Holland spent years as a featured acrobat with Cirque du Soleil, performing in The Beatles LOVE at The Mirage in Las Vegas — one of the most beloved and technically demanding resident shows in the world. Performing nightly to a packed 2,013-seat theater-in-the-round, Holland brought the same precision and athleticism to every show that defines the Cirque standard, cementing his place among the most elite circus performers on the planet.
When the COVID-19 pandemic brought the Las Vegas entertainment industry to a sudden halt, Holland — then 31 years old — described its impact as seismic. But even without a stage, he kept training. He opened his home to fellow Cirque performers so the cast could continue conditioning together, refusing to let the shutdown erode what they'd spent years building. That spirit — community, resilience, and an unyielding commitment to craft — defines who Holland is as an athlete.
Following Cirque, Holland went on to perform with Royal Caribbean Cruises, bringing world-class circus to audiences around the globe. Today he continues to train, perform, and push the boundaries of his art — and AcroGrip is proud to have him as part of our team.
