How to Apply Liquid Chalk for Maximum Grip
Using liquid chalk might seem straightforward—but a few small tweaks can make a big difference in performance. Here’s a simple guide to help you get the most out of your AcroGrip.
Step 1: Start with Clean, Dry Hands Oil, lotion, or water on your skin can mess with absorption. Wash and dry your hands thoroughly before applying.
Step 2: Apply a Small Amount You don’t need much. A small coin-sized amount is usually enough for both hands. Spread it evenly across your palms, fingers, and the back of your hands if needed.
Step 3: Let It Dry Completely This is the most important part. Wait about 10–15 seconds for the alcohol to evaporate fully. Rubbing your hands together speeds up the process.
Step 4: Reapply as Needed If you’re doing a long act or intense training, reapply halfway through. You’ll learn what your skin needs through practice. Unless you use AcroGrip it lasts the whole time.
Bonus Tip: Feet Count Too AcroGrip isn’t just for hands. Performers on silks, lyra, Russian cradle, juggling, Chinese pole, or teeterboard often use it on their soles for extra grip.
